Cops and Robbers: Threatening Message Sent Via Instagram (4/11/20-4/29/20)

Crimes:

4/28/20-4/29/20: Petty Theft near 400 block of B Avenue

Victim’s bicycle, valued at approximately $400, was stolen from her front porch.

4/27/20: Criminal Threats near 400 block of A Avenue

Unknown suspect threatened the victim by messaging them, “I will gun you down” via the social media app Instagram.

4/27/20: Impersonating to Obtain Money (Felony) near 2000 block of Second Street

Unknown suspect contacted Marriott employees via electronic website, falsely identified themselves as the hotel manager, and fraudulently received $2,500 sent via electronic transfer.

4/26/20: Burglary of the First Degree near 1400 block of First Street

Unknown suspect entered the victim’s garage through the open garage door. Suspect then entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle, which was parked inside the garage and took the victim’s wallet. The wallet contained $100 cash, various identification cards, credit cards, and blank checks belonging to the victim.

4/16/20-4/20/20: Grand Theft Property near 600 block of Country Club Lane

Victim left his bicycle inside the enclosed front yard of his friend’s home. Later in the week, the victim returned to pick up his bicycle, and it was no longer there.

4/11/20: Petty Theft near 300 block of Orange Avenue

Unknown suspect stole the victim’s two grocery bags, valued at $150.13; a duffel bag containing various clothing items; and an iPad worth $400 on the ground in the alley behind their condo.

4/24/20: Battery on Spouse/Cohabitant – Misdemeanor near 500 block of D Avenue

32 year old male

4/23/20: Possession of Controlled Substance – Misdemeanor near 400 block of Orange Avenue

48 year old male

4/21/20: Possession of Controlled Substance – Misdemeanor near 1800 block of Strand Way

23 year old female

4/21/20: Possession of Narcotic Controlled Substance – Misdemeanor near 1800 block of Strand Way
