Mathewson Park Playground Renovation: A virtual ribbon-cutting ceremony is being planned for the Mathewson park playground, which recently re-opened after a renovation to become a fully universally accessible playground. To minimize the spread of COVID-19, the Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Collection Program is operating on a reduced schedule. Collection will be held the second and fourth Saturday of each month, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The HHW Collection program is held at the Public Services Facility, located at 101 B Avenue, and is available to Coronado residents only.
