Use of Another Persons Identification

Unknown suspect(s) used the victim’s information to open a credit card account and take out a loan with Navy Federal Credit Union. The total combined charges from the fraudulent account are estimated to be 34,000 dollars.

An unknown male suspect contacted the victim and acted as the victim’s grandson stating that he needed money to prevent him from going to jail. The victim paid for the bail with $2,200 from her personal bank account and sent it to him.
