Cops and Robbers: Vandalism and Graffiti (3/26/19-4/9/19)

Thanks to the Coronado Police Department for providing The Coronado Times with the below information (partial list):

Crimes:

4/5/19: Fraudulent Use of Account Information near 900 block of Tenth Street

Victim reported fraudulent activity on her USAA Visa credit card. She did not lose her credit card and does not know how unknown suspect gained access to the information on her card.

4/3/19-4/4/19: Malicious Mischief/Vandalism (Misdemeanor) near 900 block of Fourth Street

Unknown suspect vandalized a parked vehicle and a garbage bin with a black marker. The damage costs are unknown.

4/3/19-4/4/19: Petty Theft near 500 block of G Avenue

Unknown suspect stole items from an unattended and unlocked vehicle. The total monetary loss is estimated at $110.

4/3/19-4/4/19: Malicious Mischief/Vandalism (Misdemeanor) near 1100 block of Isabella Avenue

Unknown suspect used black spray paint to vandalize an unreadable word or moniker onto an electrical box located on a residential sidewalk. Similar vandalism was found in another area of the city.

4/3/19-4/4/19: Malicious Mischief/Vandalism (Misdemeanor) near 600 block of Orange Avenue

Unknown suspect vandalized two bathroom stalls at Spreckels Park. The value to repair or repaint had not been determined at the time of this report.

4/3/19: Petty Theft near 5500 block of Coronado Cays Boulevard

Unknown suspect stole the victim’s bicycle from a bicycle rack near the entrance of the Coronado Cays. The victim’s daughter believed she locked the bicycle prior to leaving it; however, surveillance video indicates that the lock may not have been engaged.

3/27/19-4/5/19: Grand Theft Property near 1800 block of Avenida Del Mundo

An unsecured bicycle was stolen from the bicycle locker in the garage at the location. The estimated total loss for all stolen property was valued at approximately $1,000.

3/26/19: Grand Theft Property near 2000 block of Visalia Row

While playing golf, a case containing a Panerai Luminor watch, valued at $9,000, was stolen or fell from the vicitm’s golf bag. The watch was never recovered.

3/26/19: Shoplifting near 900 block of Orange Avenue

Unidentified Hispanic male adult stole jumper cables, valued at approximately $20 from the Shell Gas Station at the location.

4/9/19: Possession of Controlled Substance – Misdemeanor near 1600 block of San Luis Rey Avenue

48 year old male

4/9/19: Outside Warrant on Misdemeanor Charge – Misdemeanor near 1000 block of First Street

19 year old male

3/29/19: Possession of Controlled Substance – Misdemeanor near 500 block of Glorietta Boulevard

35 year old male
