Cops and Robbers: First-Degree Burglary on Maria Place (12/27/17-1/6/18)

Thanks to the City of Coronado Police Department for providing The Coronado Times with the below information (partial list):

Crimes:

1/6/18: Malicious Mischief/Vandalism (Misdemeanor) near 400 block of D Avenue
A vehicle was vandalized in front of the residence at the location. The initial repair cost of the damage is unknown at this time.

1/5/18: Burglary of the First Degree near 1500 block of Maria Place
Unknown suspect entered the victim’s unlocked residence at the location. Once inside, the suspect took a black backpack containing a US Government vehicle key and a black and white wallet containing the victim’s driver’s license and credit cards. The total loss was estimated at $195.

1/5/18: Obscene Telephone Call near 1500 block of Da Nang Drive
Over a thirteen-minute period, an unknown suspect called the victim’s phone ten times and made vulgar statements. When the victim threatened to call the police, the suspect threatened to kill his family. The victim has no known enemies and did not believe the threat was serious.

12/27/17: Obtaining Credit Card Information near 300 block of E Avenue
Over the past month, the victims’ credit cards have had fraudulent charges made on them, their online accounts have been accessed, and a new account has been opened using their personal identifying information.

1/6/18: Taking Vehicle Without Owner’s Consent – Felony near 100 block of A Avenue
30 year old male

1/5/18: Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol – Misdemeanor near 1900 block of J Street
45 year old male

1/5/18: Bench Warrant of Arrest – Misdemeanor near 300 block of I Avenue
26 year old female

1/5/18: Violating Probation – Felony near 100 block of H Avenue
25 year old male

1/4/18: Disorderly Conduct Due to Alcohol – Misdemeanor near 800 block of Orange Avenue
