Cops and Robbers: $8,900 Wedding Ring Stolen (March 16-30)

Thanks to the City of Coronado Police Department for providing The Coronado Times with the below information (partial list):

CRIMES

3/28/17-3/29/17: Petty Theft near 400 block of Orange Avenue
Unknown suspect(s) stole victim’s unlocked bicycle from a shared front patio area of her apartment complex.

3/26/17-3/27/17: Grand Theft Property near 1500 block of Orange Avenue
Victim was visiting Coronado and staying at the Hotel Del Coronado. Victim’s wedding ring was stolen from its storage in an eyeglass case. Victim filed a report with hotel security. The ring is a platinum band with a sapphire stone, and it is worth approximately $8,900.

3/25/17: Misdemeanor near 7th Street and B Avenue
Unknown suspect punched the rear left quarter panel of the victim’s car.

3/25/17: Battery near 1000 block of B Avenue
Suspects were involved in a “mutual combat” battery outside of their apartment complex.

3/25/17: Battery near 2000 block of 2nd Street
Victim states he was attacked during an altercation at a bar. The suspect was possibly identified by the victim. Victim refused medical care and did not have any visible marks as a result of the altercation.

3/22/17-3/23/17: Petty Theft near 600 block of 6th Street
Unknown suspect(s) stole victim’s bicycle from the bicycle rack at Village Elementary School. The loss is estimated at $400.

3/16/17: Forgery near 1200 block of 1st Street
Unknown suspects used the victim’s medical license information to forge a prescription in an attempt to obtain medication. The suspects entered two different locations in an attempt to pass the fraudulent prescriptions to obtain medication.

3/30/17: Disorderly Conduct due to Alcohol – Misdemeanor near 1700 block of Glorietta PZ
34 year old male

3/24/17: Disorderly Conduct due to Alcohol – Misdemeanor near 800 block of C Avenue
37 year old male
