Several years ago the Coronado High School Boys and Girls Lacrosse Programs came together to hold one major fundraiser a year, which is the Golf Tournament and Social.
The Golf Tournament, Auction and Social has not only been a very successful event, but it provides the community, whether businesses or individuals, the opportunity to donate and participate in a day of golf, a night of dinner and music, or both.
The money raised fills several needs of the teams, such as paying for assistant coaches, uniforms when needed, essential equipment for the players, and tournament fees.
This year’s fundraiser will be on Friday, February 3rd at the Coronado Golf Course, and includes golf, dinner, live music by In Midlife Crisis, and silent, live and dessert auctions. Golf will have a shotgun start at 12 noon and the dinner hour will begin at 5pm.
