The Glorietta tennis courts may be a little crowded the next few weekends and that is good news for junior tennis. City of Coronado Tennis Director, Sue Hites, was pleased that 148 players from all over Southern California, as well as a few from Mexico, are participating in this event.
Hites shared that not only is it important for junior players to compete in tournaments, but it’s even more important that they practice fair play during their matches. She passed out these cards to the players to read and then keep in their bags:
If you are looking for some exciting junior tennis, be sure to head down to the Glorietta Tennis Center (1501 Glorietta Blvd.) and cheer on the kids. Many of the Coronado players are still in the draw and would appreciate your support. Play continues today and concludes next weekend (singles and doubles).
