A Dynamic Duo! Felix and his brother Shadow were part of a litter of four kittens born under a porch in Coronado to momma cat Boots.
Boots and her gang went to a foster home where the kittens had the best of it all an attentive, loving momma cat and a family of people to help socialize them. This loving beginning has helped shape them into wonderful cats.
Felix and Shadow are a dynamic duo with good looks and stellar personalities. These two boys are now in their teens and have become favorites of the volunteers.
These boys are very playful. They enjoy a good wrestling match with each other and are overjoyed when you join in the fun by tossing a ball or cat mouse, waving a cat wand or pulling a string. Once they are tired out, they will curl up together or near you for a very well deserved cat nap.
Black cats are traditionally very intelligent and these boys are no exception. They are attentive, inquisitive and very interactive.
Felix and Shadow are currently in a foster home to give them a break from shelter living. Their current foster mom has this to say about them:
They are very outgoing and curious and are both underfoot with me all the time. They do have a couple of funny quirks – they do like to splash all the water out of their water dish and they suckle on each other before they go to sleep. All in all, they are very sweet and affectionate and so beautiful.

PS We can tell them apart because Felix has white fur on the inside of his ears, while Shadow does not. And Shadow has one white whisker on the left side of his face.
