CORONADO The theater building at Coronado High School was briefly evacuated shortly before 5 p.m. Wednesday after the smell of smoke was reported, Superintendent Jeff Felix said.
Felix said he was told the smell came from a burnt belt inside an air conditioning unit and that the incident was under control.
