If you are a Coronado local or frequent visitor, you are probably aware that Holland’s Bicycles is beloved staple of the community that has been providing bicycles, gear and quality service since 1924 (over 85 years!). It’s a family run business operated by Tyler Rowden and Eddie Warner. They employ an extremely knowledgeable staff and are passionately supported by bicycle advocates on and off the island. Holland’s Bicycles is having a ‘rare’ sales event from April 30th to May 2nd and we want you to know about it.
Part of Coronado’s charm is being able to get around Coronado without having to climb into your gas-guzzling car. I like to call Coronado, ‘carefree’ (car-free). I think we would be a lot less focused on traffic issues if more folks just hopped on their bikes when it came to getting around the island.
