Tennis Court Repairs and Resurfacing The Tennis Court Repairs and Resurfacing project will replace a portion of the concrete surface at Court No. 1 at the Library Tennis Courts and will resurface all City-owned courts, including eight courts at the Tennis Center; five courts at the Cays; and two courts at the Library. The contractor will begin repairs to the concrete surface at the Library Tennis Courts on Monday, July 27. The new concrete surface must cure for a minimum of 28 days before the resurfacing can take place. During this work, the courts will be open for play as much as possible. The anticipated schedule is as follows: • Library Courts: Concrete repairs will begin the week of July 27 on Court No. 1 and resurfacing for Courts No. 1 and No. 2 will take place the week of the August 31. • Tennis Center Courts: Resurfacing will take three weeks and will begin on August 18. Resurfacing will be phased so that three courts remain open for play at all times. • Cays Courts: Resurfacing will take two weeks and will begin the week of August 3. Resurfacing will be phased so that two courts remain open for play at all times.
