Cops and Robbers: Multiple Vandalism and Shoplifting Reports (10/21/19-10/31/19)

Crimes:

10/31/19: Report of Domestic Violence near 100 block of D Avenue

Subjects were involved in a verbal argument inside their residence, which did not involve physical contact.

10/29/19: Malicious Mischief/Vandalism (Misdemeanor) near 900 block of First Street

Unknown suspect vandalized victim’s backyward wall with multiple phrases in black writing.

10/28/19-10/30/19: Malicious Mischief/Vandalism (Misdemeanor) near 400 block of B Avenue

Unknown suspect vandalized the victim’s fence and garbage cans using spray paint.

10/26/19: Burglary of the Second Degree near 800 block of Orange Avenue

Subject entered Vons with a backpack and walked directly to the liquor section. He placed ten bottles of champagne into his backpack and two bottles under his arms and walked out of the store without paying. The total loss for the liquor is $1,047.20.

10/25/19-10/26/19: Malicious Mischief/Vandalism (Misdemeanor) near 800 block of First Street

Unknown suspect spray-painted a seawall and rocks near the water line at Harbor View Park. The estimated monetary loss due to the damages has not been calculated at this time.

10/25/19: Vandalism near 800 block of First Street

Unknown suspect vandalized the victim’s fence with black paint. The total damage repair costs is unknown.

10/24/19-10/27/19: Malicious Mischief/Vandalism (Misdemeanor) near 100 block of B Avenue

Unknown suspect used spray paint to vandalize the amphitheater area at Vernetti Stadium. The estimated repair cost has not been calculated at this time.

10/24/19-10/25/19: Identity Theft near 100 block of Bridgetown Bend

Victim was notified by Chase Bank that someone opened lines of credit using her information. The suspect is unidentified at this time.

10/22/19-10/23/19: Burglary of the Second Degree near 500 block of C Avenue

Unknown suspect broke into a vehicle and stole various food items. The total loss and damage cost is $447.12.

10/22/19-10/23/19: Burglary of the Second Degree near 300 block of G Avenue

Unknown suspect used unknown means to shatter the front passenger window to the victim’s locked vehicle that was parked outside of his residence. His checkbook was taken from his vehicle, but no fraudulent checks have been written at the time of this report. The estimated repair cost of the window is $300.

10/21/19: Shoplifting near 100 block of B Avenue

Unidentified suspect shoplifted dairy products at Smart & Final. The cost of the merchandise was approximately $42.87.

10/27/19: Disorderly Conduct Due to Alcohol – Misdemeanor near 200 block of I Avenue

18 year old male

10/27/19: Driving Under the Influence of Drugs – Misdemeanor near 800 block of D Avenue

72 year old female

10/27/19: Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol – Misdemeanor near 100 block of I Avenue

17 year old male

10/26/19: Animal Cruelty – Misdemeanor near 100 block of Orange Avenue

46 year old male

10/26/19: Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol – Misdemeanor near 700 block of C Avenue
