Cops and Robbers: Earrings Stolen at the Del (8/12/17-8/22/17)

Thanks to the City of Coronado Police Department for providing The Coronado Times with the below information (partial list):

Crimes

8/22/17: Petty Theft near 600 block of D Avenue
Unknown suspect stole the victim’s locked bicycle from a rack at the location. The loss is estimated at $500.

8/22/17: Petty Theft near 400 block of Green Turtle Road
Unknown suspect stole various items and loose change from the center console of an unlocked vehicle while it was parked on a public street in front of the location.

8/21/17: Petty Theft near 800 block of Sixth Street
Unknown suspect took victim’s unlocked bicycle from the high school entrance. The loss value is $525.

8/21/17: Shoplifting near 100 block of B Avenue
Two suspects entered the location and stole candy valued at $533.80. The suspects fled the scene and were not located.

8/18/17: Petty Theft near 900 block of Orange Avenue
Unknown suspect entered an unlocked vehicle parked in the parking lot at the location. The suspect took the victim’s wallet that contained the victim’s driver’s license and social security card as well as other cards.

8/17/17-8/18/17: Malicious Mischief/Vandalism (Misdemeanor) near 300 block of Orange Avenue
Unknown suspect spray painted a city telephone pole. There were no suspects seen, and the damage was graffiti to a plastic covering.

8/16/17: Burglary of the Second Degree near 800 block of Orange Avenue
A female suspect entered the location and stole liquor bottles. Total loss is $2294.85

8/15/17-8/16/17: Burglary of the First Degree near 200 block of Bahama Bend
Unknown subjects entered the residence and took a wallet, a watch, and $100 in cash from the victim’s bedroom.

8/14/17-8/21/17: Burglary of the First Degree near 800 block of I Avenue
Unknown suspects entered victim’s open bedroom door and took an Apple MacBook Pro laptop from the bedroom desk.

8/14/17-8/16/17: Grand Theft near 1500 block of Orange Avenue
Victim was visiting the Hotel Del Coronado and put her one-karat platinum stud earrings into the safe of her hotel room. Victim stated that she was in and out of the safe, often not locking it, and found her earrings missing. Total loss is $4500.

8/14/17-8/15/17: Petty Theft near 1000 block of Encino Row
Unknown subjects removed two unlocked bicycles from the back rack in front of the location and fled in an unknown direction.

8/13/17: Petty Theft near 1700 block of Avenida Del Mundo
A bicycle was stolen from behind the residence. Stolen property was valued at $870.

8/12/17: Fraudulent Use of Access Card or Account Information near 1600 block of Pomona Avenue
Victim noticed an unknown suspect made four separate charges to his Pacific Commerce Bank account without his permission.

8/21/17: Resisting Police – Misdemeanor near 900 block of Third Street
26 year old male

8/19/17: Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol – Misdemeanor near 300 block of Pomona Avenue
22 year old male
