CHS Girls’ Golf Takes Second Place in a Multi-Opponent Match

In a multi-opponent match against Del Norte High School and Rancho Bernardo, Coronado placed second between these three teams. Rancho Bernardo took first with a score of 195 strokes with the advantage of playing on their home course. Senior Calista Reyes was also a major asset for Rancho Bernardo, as she is an amateur player at the national division. Both Coronado and Del Norte scored 241, so the tiebreaker was decided for CHS. The 6th-place golfer’s score determined the tiebreaker, allowing Coronado to rise above Del Norte in the standing.

Coronado’s record is now five wins to one loss.
