Cops and Robbers: Three Arrested in Grand Theft (5/22/17-6/7/17)

Thanks to the City of Coronado Police Department for providing The Coronado Times with the below information (partial list):

Crimes

6/6/17: Obtaining Money Under False Pretenses near 200 block of Alameda Boulevard
Victim received a phone call from suspect who identified himself as a representative from a sweepstakes contest. Victim sent money orders totalling $3,750 to an address in Ohio believing it was part of the process to collect her prize.

6/5/17: Unspecified Burglary near 800 block of I Avenue
Unknown suspects attempted to burglarize victim’s vehicle while it was parked on the street. Victim’s vehicle sustained damage to the driver’s window. It appeared no entry was made, and there were no missing items from the vehicle.

6/5/17: Malicious Mischief/Vandalism (Misdemeanor) near 500 block of C Avenue
Unknown suspects vandalized victim’s vehicle by throwing a rock through the left rear window.

6/4/17: Battery on a Spouse or Cohabitant at Unknown Location
Victim became involved in a verbal argument, which escalated. Victim was slapped by the suspect in the face and on the neck approximately four times.

6/3/17: Burglary of the Second Degree near 1000 block of 1st Street
Unknown suspects used unknown means to shatter the front right passenger window of the victim’s vehicle that was parked and secured. The suspects stole a purse containing a wallet from the floorboard. The total monetary loss was about $612.

6/2/17: Exhibiting Firearm near 100 block of Tunapuna Lane
Subject pointed a handgun at several landscapers in front of his house. Subject was gone prior to police arrival.

5/31/17: Disorderly Conduct Due to Alcohol near 700 block of D Avenue
Subject was found highly intoxicated in public and transported to Sharp Coronado Hospital for medical treatment.

5/29/17-6/4/17: Malicious Mischief/Vandalism (Misdemeanor) near 500 block of Ocean Boulevard
Unknown suspects vandalized the rocks located along the west curb line of the location with graffiti in what appears to be black spray paint.

5/26/17-5/28/17: Petty Theft near 600 block of D Avenue
A locked bicycle was stolen from the bicycle rack on the south side of the location. Stolen bicycle was valued at $328.

5/22/17: Grand Theft Property near 1800 block of Avenida Del Mundo
A bag with miscellaneous personal items was taken from the parking garage at the location. The loss was valued at $1906.

6/6/17: Disorderly Conduct Due to Alcohol near 800 block of Orange Avenue
45 year old male

6/4/17: Possession of Controlled Substance – Misdemeanor near 1700 block of Glorietta Place
39 year old female

6/4/17: Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol – Misdemeanor near 6000 block of Silver Strand Boulevard
20 year old male

6/3/17: Assault with a Deadly Weapon – Felony near Palm Avenue and F Avenue
47 year old male

6/3/17: Possession of Controlled Substance – Misdemeanor near 7000 block of Silver Strand Boulevard
66 year old male

6/2/17: Grand Theft Property – Felony near 1400 block of 1st Street
19 year old male

6/2/17: Grand Theft Property – Felony near 1400 block of 1st Street
23 year old male
