Coronado Community Read is Seeking Book Nominations for 2018

Coronado Community Read 2018The Coronado Public Library and the Coronado Cultural Arts Commission are seeking nominations for the 2018 Coronado Community Read. Have you read a book that you think everyone in Coronado should read? Stop by the Library, or visit the Library or Cultural Arts homepage to nominate a title.

Nominations will be vetted by the Cultural Arts Literary Arts Working Team, and the top five titles will be put up for a community vote this summer. We’re looking for your favorite title, either fiction or non-fiction. This is your chance to recommend a book that might be chosen as next year’s Coronado Community Read.

The Coronado Community Read is made possible by the Friends of the Coronado Public Library and the Coronado Cultural Arts Commission. To nominate a title, visit the Library’s website: www.coronado.lib.ca.us or the Coronado Cultural Arts Commission website: www.coronadoarts.com. To enter a nomination electronically visit: http://ow.ly/sVDO30bmxH8

The Coronado Community Read aims to bring the entire community together with the shared reading of one book. The read will be enhanced by discussions and programs throughout the community that are centered around the themes of the novel.
