South Bay Clean Water March (April 29th)

Saturday, April 29, 3pm

As a response to the recent border sewage crisis, the South Bay Clean Water Movement has organized a “March for Clean Beaches” on Saturday, April 29, 2017. Coronado residents are asked to join together with South Bay residents, Imperial Beach Residents, the Coronado Surfing Association and Surfrider for the family friendly march in Imperial Beach. Dress up your strollers and kid wagons to march with families, friends and neighbors in solidarity against the sewage spill issues.

On April 29:

  • Imperial Beach residents – meet at 3rd St. and IB Boulevard
  • Coronado residents – meet at 3rd St. and Palm Ave in IB
  • Each group will start at their respective side of town at 3pm sharp
  • The groups will march towards the Imperial Beach Pier Plaza and then disburse onto the beach for an aerial photo
  • Please wear a blue shirt
