C3 Gallery Exhibition: Inspired by the Masters

The City of Coronado Cultural Arts Commission announces the “Inspired by the Masters” exhibition which opened Friday, March 3, in the Coronado Community Center Gallery and runs through May 30. A reception featuring all three artists is scheduled for Thursday, March 30, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the gallery and Nautilus Room. The event is free and open to the public.

This exhibition features the artwork of three talented local artists selected through a juried process. Oil painters Lucinda Ribant Swain and Philip Martin, and sculptor Jarose Dufaut. This is the first exhibition of the 2017 season and three additional exhibitions are planned for the year.

Affectionately known as the C3 Gallery, the space officially opened in November 2015 in celebration of Coronado’s 125th Anniversary. Located in the Coronado Community Center at 1845 Strand Way, this exhibition space features the work of local artists for display and/or sale.
