Rotary Seeks Peacemaker Award Nominations

The Rotary Club of Coronado will be honoring a member of the community with its 2016-17 Peacemaker Award. The Peacemaker Award is designed to recognize members of the community who have made a significant difference in promoting tolerance, building good will and understanding, resolving conflict resolution and striving for peace.

Nominees’ impact may be local, regional, national or international. The person should be linked to Coronado in some way (i.e. lives, works or has impact in Coronado). The person may be of any age and may be a volunteer, retired, self-employed or employee. If the impact is part of one’s profession, they must have demonstrated going above and beyond what is expected. Nominees should show themselves as a role model for others.

Kirstin Green was honored as the recipient of the Rotary Club of Coronado 2015-2016 Peacemaker Award for humanitarian projects she completed in Ghana.
