I am voting for Richard Bailey, a candidate who represents the needs of Coronado’s senior citizens.

I cast my vote with pleasure, for Richard Bailey as the next Mayor of Coronado. As a more than 50 year resident, homeowner and tax payer, I have watched Richard over the past four years and have admired his performance on the City Council.

Richard carefully considers each issue based on fiscal conservatism, maintaining the village atmosphere of our town and representing the interests of its residents. I note that he has paid special attention to traffic issues, signage and parking; issues which affect us all.

Most importantly, Richard is a listener. He gathers facts through his surveys and meeting with constituents throughout town. As a very senior citizen, I especially appreciate Richard’s attention to my vocal concerns about the safety of seniors on the streets and sidewalks of Coronado. This is an issue that is important to many of my peers as well.

Richard Bailey is a man tempered by experience who I believe will do an excellent job as our next mayor. I urge you to join me in voting for him.
