An unknown suspect(s) vandalized three city benches at Bay View Park by means of a permanent marker or spray paint in red coloring.

Take Vehicle Without Owner’s Consent
Victim reported that Analicia River stole his 2009 Toyota Highlander. Oceanside Police Department recovered and returned the vehicle, and arrested the suspect.
500 block of Pomona Avenue

Victim accidentally left her Samsung Galaxy Note 3 cell phone contained in a bright pink case in the women’s public restroom at Spreckles Park ($800 estimated loss).

Burglary/First Degree
An unknown suspect entered victim’s residence and stole items ($1,250 estimated loss).

The suspect was with the victim in violation of an SD County Superior Court Restraining Order.

An unknown suspect sole victim’s pink computer case containing a laptop, external hard-drive and miscellaneous papers that had been left leaning up against victim’s backyard gate ($730 estimated loss).

Unknown suspect removed/cut the cable lock from a locked bicycle, stole it and fled ($700 estimated loss).

Caroline was 15 years old when her family moved to Coronado. Though she was a “transplant”, Caroline found a home in the Coronado community near-immediately: she became an intern for “The Coronado Times”; helped reinstate the CHS newspaper, “The Islander Times”; was a volunteer dog-walker for PAWS; and a faithful Concert in the Park attendee.After completing her BA in English at the University of California Santa Barbara, she went on to craft answers for Amazon Alexa devices and write creatively on the side.
