Six-year-old Anthony Jones dispatched a final email to his father after his dad’s Navy helicopter crashed into the Red Sea.
“I hope I meet you in heaven one day, but it will be a long time before that happens,” Anthony wrote. “I think you are watching me all day and all night, every day.
Anthony’s mother, Theresa Jones, read the email to more than 600 people at the Friday memorial service for Lt. Cmdr. Landon Jones and Chief Warrant Officer Jonathan Gibson, two Navy pilots lost in the Sept. 22 crash.
