The spaghetti was prepared by Hotel del Coronado chefs and then transferred to the headquarters station to eager patrons waiting for the delicious meal. For a $10 plate (kids $5), diners enjoyed a large portion of spaghetti, salad, garlic bread, a cookie, and a drink. Many people used the “to-go” containers and watched the wonderful concert in the park across the street. Don’t miss next year’s event in July.
We wish to thank the many local businesses for their generosity in donating items for the raffle and silent auction in support of such a worthy cause. California American Water and Coronado Common Sense each donated $700 toward the cost of the food. The Loews Coronado Bay Resort provided a one night stay and the Glorietta Bay Inn a two night stay, with walking tour, to be auctioned.
Other businesses that donated include the following: Albertsons, Costa Azul/Island Pasta, McP’s Restaurant, Coronado Boathouse, Brigantine/Miguel’s, Café 1134, Domani Salon, Little Piggy’s/Village Pizzeria/Moo Time, Cruiser King, Vons, Coronado Brewing Co., Vigilucci’s, Fuzziwigs Candy Factory, Charisma Boutique, Starbucks, Robin’s Rum Cakes, Tartine Café, Emerald City Surf, Sol Tan, Bikes and Beyond, Chance Bistro, The Armoire, Crown Barber Shop, Central Liquor, Nado Gelato Café, Vintage Cinemas, Island Surf, Sunglass Hut, Martial Arts America, Coronado Training Center, Coronado Beauty Salon, Kippy’s, Wine Styles Gift Basket, Lamb’s Player Theatre, Il Fornaio, Alexander’s Pizza, Coronado Taste of Oils, Island Fitness, Crown Point Clippers, and Ron’s Pro Shop.
