Police Blotter January 15-January 24 4 locked bikes reported stolen Arrests • Jan. 19: 55 year old male for drunkenness/protective custody/detox (200 Prospect Pl.) • Jan. 23: Male 21 years old malicious mischief/vandalism (400 Orange Ave.) • Jan. 24: Male 43 years old DUI/misdemeanor (900 Orange Ave.) • Jan. 25: Female 39 years old disorderly conduct due to alcohol (700 Orange Ave.) Crime • Jan. 15-21: Unknown suspect takes car without owner’s consent. Forced entry into the 2005 Jeep and brake away the ignition and steering wheel cover (900 A Ave.) *editor’s note- similar to attempted heist of several Jeeps two weeks ago • Jan. 16: Burglary in 2nd degree where suspect forges four checks at Von’s on separate occasions • Jan. 19: Grand theft where bike was taken near high school pool • Jan. 20: Petty theft where unknown suspect took wallet and jacket of victim from golf course dining room • Jan. 21: Petty theft where unknown suspect vandalized Cays HOA property and took fire exstinguisher • Jan. 21: Vandalism on 1984 Mercedes Benz (Tunapuna Ln.) • Jan, 23: Grand theft where unknown suspect entered locked car and took sunglasses, ipod and backpack (900 D Ave.) • Jan. 23 Vandalism where suspect jumped on hood of taxi and smashed fron window with right hand (400 Orange Ave.)
