Cops and Robbers: Uninvited Entry into Residential Properties (9/3/17-9/18/17)

Thanks to the City of Coronado Police Department for providing The Coronado Times with the below information (partial list):

Crimes

9/11/17: Petty Theft near 900 block of Orange Avenue
Unknown suspects took the victim’s purse which was hanging on the back of a chair on the patio. The loss is approximately $220.

9/10/17-9/11/17: Malicious Mischief/Vandalism (Felony) near 4000 block of Coronado Bay Road
Unknown suspects used black spray paint to vandalize the rear of victim’s vehicle. The vehicle was parked and unattended. The estimated cost to repaint the rear portion of the vehicle is $1,000.

9/10/17-9/11/17: Burglary of the Second Degree near 700 block of Kingston Court West
Unknown suspects entered victim’s open garage and stole two surfboards and several pieces of diving equipment. The total approximate value of all the items taken is $6,770.

9/9/17-9/11/17: Petty Theft near 400 block of Ninth Street
Unknown suspect gained entry into the victim’s unlocked vehicle and took property valued at approximately $430. No evidence or witnesses were located.

9/8/17-9/10/17: Burglary of the Second Degree near 400 block of B Avenue
Unknown suspects entered victim’s residence while it was being fumigated. The suspects cut the tarps and entered through an unlocked living room window. They ransacked the entire home and removed several items totaling approximately $2,050.

9/7/17-9/13/17: Fraudulent Use of Access Card or Account Information near 900 block of Tenth Street
Subject sent victim an email pretending to be Lending Club. The email advised the victim had been approved a $5000 loan. The victim provided her bank account information and social security number. Since then, the victim has been receiving numerous emails from lenders and other companies and noticed her score dropped from 300 points.

9/7/17: Burglary near 900 block of Orange Avenue
Unknown female entered the Verizon Wireless Store and stole a Samsung Galaxy Note 8 that was on display. The cellular phone was programmed in demo mode but is still functional.

9/7/17: Entering Noncommercial Dwelling near 300 block of Glorietta Boulevard
An unidentified white male entered the residential property at the location. Victim confronted the suspect, who she found lying on the floor and adjacent to her bed. Victim chased the suspect out of the home without further incident.

9/7/17: Entering Noncommercial Dwelling near 1100 block of First Street
An unidentified white male entered the residential property at the location without owner’s permission. The suspect was confronted by the reporting party, and the suspect fled the scene.

9/5/17-9/9/17: Fraudulent Use of Access Card or Account Information near 4000 block of Coronado Bay Road
Unknown suspects broke into a spa locker and, using unknown means, obtained victim’s information from three of his credit cards.

9/3/17: Burglary of the First Degree near 300 block of The Point
Victim reported her residence burglarized. Her vehicle’s license plate was taken from her unsecured garage. Victim has identified a possible suspect in this case.

9/15/17: Disorderly Conduct Due to Alcohol – Misdemeanor near 800 block of Ocean Boulevard
25 year old male

9/14/17: Parole Violation – Felony near 900 block of Ocean Boulevard
51 year old male

9/10/17: Possession of Controlled Substance – Misdemeanor near 200 block of Orange Avenue
28 year old female

9/9/17: Parole Violation – Felony near 900 block of Orange Avenue
25 year old male
