CORONADO The city of Coronado can keep $5.8 million originally intended for its now-defunct redevelopment fund and it has the right to try and recoup an additional $32.6 million in redevelopment loans, a Superior Court judge has ruled.
The decision rendered by Judge Michael Kenny in Sacramento on Friday is the latest in a series of cases arising out of the state’s decision to kill local redevelopment agencies three years ago.
