Cops and Robbers: Vehicles Vandalized and Two DUIs (12/3/18-12/12/18)

Thanks to the Coronado Police Department for providing The Coronado Times with the below information (partial list):

Crimes:

12/8/18-12/9/18: Burglary near 100 block of Delaport Lane

The window of the victim’s Volkswagen van was found broken. The victim believes the vehicle was entered, although no items were taken from the vehicle. The damage to the vehicle is estimated to be $400.

12/8/18: Inflicting Corporal Injury on Spouse/Cohabitant near 500 Kingston West Court

Subjects were involved in a physical altercation at their home.

12/7/18-12/8/18: Use of Another’s Personal Identification near 200 block of Palm Avenue

Days earlier, the victim had her wallet stolen in San Diego. Her credit cards were then used at different stores in San Diego when the San Diego Police Department was notified. They referred her to the Coronado Police Department to report the identity theft. There is currently no suspect information.

12/7/18: Grand Theft near 600 block of Margarita Avenue

Unknown suspect stole the victim’s two bicycles from the front yard of the location. The total monetary loss for the bicycles was $1,149.99. One of the bicycles was later found, while there other has not yet been recovered.

12/3/18: Malicious Mischief/Vandalism (Felony) near 800 block of J Avenue

Victim’s blue Jeep Cherokee was vandalized. The total monetary cost to fix the damages will be anywhere between $1,000 and $2,500.

12/10/18: Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol – Misdemeanor near 1700 block of Visalia Row

54 year old male

12/10/18: Possession of Controlled Substance – Misdemeanor near 1800 block of Mullinix Drive

49 year old male

12/9/18: Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol – Misdemeanor near 700 block of Orange Avenue

54 year old female

12/9/18: Inflicting Corporal Injury on Spouse/Cohabitant – Felony near 600 block of A Avenue

27 year old female

12/8/18: Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol – Misdemeanor near 8000 block of Silver Strand Boulevard

45 year old male

12/7/18: Refusing to Comply with Peace Officer – Misdemeanor near 1000 block of Fourth Street
