Football: Islanders Crush Clairemont 52-7

Coach Hines calling the play

The Coronado Islanders football team sits at a current record of 4-3 after an immense win over Clairemont on Friday. The final score was 52-7. Despite having four starters out due to injuries, the Islanders were able to get back on track and get plenty of players in. During the duration of the game, Coach Hines ran three QBs, six RBs, and got in EVERY lineman!

Players to watch: Tyler Buckley had a HUGE night, along with Brady Roulier, Devin Schulte, James Witthoft, and the entire defensive line.

The Coronado varsity football team’s next game is a home conference game vs. Crawford on Friday, October 18 @ 6:30pm. It is also Homecoming that evening.
