Crimes:
5/26/18-5/27/18: Burglary of the Second Degree near 1000 block of Isabella Avenue
Unknown suspect accessed the victim’s locked vehicle, removed property, and then fled in an unknown direction. There were no suspects seen and the value of the property taken was approximately $800.
5/26/18-5/27/18: Petty Theft near 3200 block of Silver Strand Boulevard
Unknown suspect took a lithium battery from an electric bicycle and attempted to take the battery from another electric bicycle. The bicycles were secured to a bicycle rack mounted to a recreational vehicle parked in an RV park. The total loss for the battery is $500.
5/26/18: Grand Theft near 600 block of Fifth Street
Unknown suspect utilized a fictitious email account in the name similar to the victim’s friend and contacted the victim, asking her to purchase gift cards with promise of payback. Victim purchased the gift cards and sent their information to the suspect. The total approximate loss is $1,500.
5/24/18: False Impersonation near 1300 block of Saipan Road
Victim was defrauded out of $300 in gift cards through an email scam by an unknown suspect.
5/23/18-5/25/18: Grand Theft near 700 block of B Avenue
Unknown suspect entered the courtyard at the location and removed an unlocked bicycle. The total loss is approximately $1,400.
5/23/18-5/24/18: Burglary near 300 block of Orange Avenue
Unknown suspect pried open the victim’s garage door and stole a bicycle and tools from inside the garage. Suspect also damaged the garage door’s level arm, drywall, and scratched the victim’s vehicle. The total estimated loss is approximately $2,850 in stolen property and $250 in property damaged.
5/23/18-5/24/18: Burglary of the Second Degree near 1100 block of Star Park Circle
Unknown suspect entered the victim’s locked vehicle without signs of forced entry. Suspect stole several items, including a medical bag, sunglasses, and headphones. The total value is approximately $200.
