On November 19th and 20th, Saturday and Sunday, the Coronado Youth Soccer League and the City of Coronado will host the San Diego Developmental Academy (SDDA) Festival Showcase at the Cays Soccer Fields. The fields will be in use both days from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
SDDA is a gaming league for youth soccer, and over 50 competitive club organizations route their teams to compete in this league. The SDDA Festival Showcase is an end of the season display of talent for all youth soccer players participating in the SDDA. The regular season runs from September through mid-November each year. When the regular season has concluded, there is a “showcase” which is designed for the players to continue to master their skill in two additional post season games. The Showcase also allows for the older players to be assessed by the Olympic Development Program (ODP), colleges and the SDDA; and it occurs at the San Diego Polo Fields and the Festival Showcase, held here at the Cays Fields.
