The community is encouraged to attend. The Old Goats of Travis Manion Foundation, the City of Coronado, the Hotel del Coronado and numerous local restaurants and services are providing a special Recognition Weekend and Reception for Combat Injured & Special Military Personnel.

They will visit Coronado with their families, enjoy local accommodations, extra ameneties, family dinners and then end the Veterans Day weekend being honored by the community at a reception open to the public. They are combat injured and special military personnel and some that will be honored are:

SGT Isaac “Ike” Blunt, USMC
Senior Chief Tyler Borgwardt, USN
CWO3 James Byrne, USN Active Duty SEAL
HM3 Randell Leoncio, USN
SGT Hector “Tito” Perez, USMC

Please consider joining the family-friendly festivities on Sunday, November 13 at the Coronado Community Center to honor these men. The bigger the crowd, the more meaningful the reception will be.
