Congrats to Village Theatre for making the USA Today list of “majestic movie places.” Here is a blurb from the article:
Hand-painted murals by Disney muralist Bill Anderson adorn the walls of the Village Theatre in San Diego’s Coronado, depicting classic San Diego scenes such as the downtown skyline, Hotel del Coronado and Balboa Park. The Art Deco, 195-seat main theater opened in 1947, and today includes two smaller theaters (45 people each) and the latest 3-D technology.
