Have you noticed that the seven bike corrals around Coronado are missing? According to the City of Coronado, “The bike corrals are getting a makeover before being fitted with the same mini-bike racks going in on some sidewalks. This week, concrete slab was poured in the street at all corral locations to allow the racks to be securely bolted to the pavement. Once the concrete has had time to cure, the racks and decorative bollards will be installed, completing the project.”

As Summer approaches, these corrals will be well used and hopefully help reduce both unlocked bikes and bikes crowding the sidewalks of Orange Avenue.
