The San Diego Blood Bank will hold a community blood drive on Saturday, May 31st from 9am-2pm in the Union Bank Parking Lot on 800 Orange Avenue. The blood drive is for all people willing to donate their blood, even if their blood type is unknown. Requirements include being at least 17 years of age, weighing at least 114 pounds, and not having received a new piercing within the past four months; participants will fill out a survey of preliminary questions, have their finger pricked to test for iron in the bloodstream, get their blood pressure taken, etc. to see if they are able to donate. Come out and help support people in need! Your blood could save lives.
