A 19-year-old college student was arrested Thursday in Coronado as the suspect in the shooting deaths of his parents last month in the family’s multimillion-dollar home in an exclusive area of San Juan Capistrano, authorities said.
Ashton Colby Sachs, 19, was taken into custody at a residence that was owned by his family, Orange County sheriff’s Lt. Jeff Hallock said Friday night. Hallock said he believed the house had been in escrow shortly before the deaths.
