Videos Helping Society is a student run organization and we are dedicated to making a change for the better. Throughout our journey, we will be raising money, and interacting hands on with some of the biggest issues in todays society. Our premise is to help others and encourage others to make a difference in the community. We will participate in many different service projects and create documentaries about these issues. With our passions for filmmaking and our love for helping other people, we can reach out to people through the power of editing.
For the past two years, we have been helping the homeless hands on by creating care packages and hand delivering them to the homeless on the streets. During all of this, we took the opportunity to film our experiences and interview some of the homeless in California and we are currently turning our experiences into a documentary showing all different perspectives about the issue of homelessness. We have helped hundreds of homeless in California and have won an award from DoSomething.org from our work so far. During this holiday season, we are finishing up our two year journey and we are going to deliver care packages to the homeless. We want to move on to a new project and we want to end off our project strong. We are asking for any blankets or socks anyone would be willing to donate.
