A woman being held in Mexico for her alleged role in a conspiracy to smuggle Moammar Gadhafi’s son to a coastal resort area maintained a home in Coronado and worked in San Diego.
Gabriela Davila Huerta, 47, has been detained since Nov. 10. According to authorities, she is charged with using false documents to set up bank accounts and purchase properties that would have served as safe homes for Saadi Gadhafi, the son of the late Libyan dictator, who is wanted by Interpol.
