Walking toward Village Theatre to see Margin Call last night, we noticed a sign on the door of Orange Blossoms at 952 Orange Avenue. The sign reads:
To my dear customers: Thank you for your support over the years. Due to family obligations, I have to say “goodbye”. Love, Peggy
We reached out to Peggy Haplin, owner of Orange Blossoms, but have not received a call or email back. The business voicemail box is full and the website is no longer working. Peggy and her husband Sean are also part owners in the Tavern – a restaurant at 1310 Orange Avenue that opened in August 2011.
Orange Blossoms opened its doors in October, 2005 and sold home items and clothing for women and children.
