Rotary International Youth Exchange application forms are now available for 2012-13 long term, short term and summer camp programs. Visit the Rotary Club of Coronado website at www.coronadorotary.org and click on ‘Youth Exchange Info’ to view both the Long Term and Short Term brochures. Youth, ages 15 18 for short term and long term programs, and up to mid 20’s for summer camps, may apply and be interviewed for these international Youth Exchange opportunities that fosters global understanding. Programs range from summer camps (two to three weeks) to short term exchanges (four to six weeks) to full year academic programs in a foreign country under the umbrella of Rotary International.
Interested students and their parents are asked to review the information online and send an email to [email protected] to request an application. During the application process, interested students will be interviewed to determine their maturity, age appropriateness, scholastic record, linguistic ability (long term exchange only) and readiness to be a cultural ambassador in this opportunity of a lifetime!
