CORONADO, Calif. — A man’s body was found on a beach at North Island Naval Air Station Wednesday, authorities reported.
A U.S. Coast Guard pollution inspector was working in the area when he came across the body about 500 yards away from Zuniga Point Jetty about 8:45 a.m., USCG Petty Officer Henry Dunphy said. The corpse appeared to have washed ashore, according to Dunphy.
