* 1 traffic collisions * 1 locked bike stolen * 2 cars stolen Arrests * 10/12: Female 16 years old attempted petty theft & violation of probation (400 block G Ave.) * 10/13: Male 38 years old DUI alcohol/drugs (NASNI) * 10/14: Female 16 years old detention order & beyond parental guardian (200 Prospect Place) * 10/16: Male 31 years old inflict corporal injury on cohabitant (felony) & vandalism greater than $400 (200 block D Ave.) * 10/18: Female 17 years old burglary second degree (felony- juvenile contact only) (800 block Orange Ave.) * 10/18: Female 51 years old disorderly conduct due to alcohol (1200 1st St.) * 10/20: Male 25 years old disorderly conduct due to alcohol/detention only (1000 block 9th) Crime * 10/11: Attempted petty theft at Avenue Liquor Store where suspect attempted to take bottle of Smirnoff Vodka. Employee stopped suspect from stealing bottle. * 10/11-10/12: Grand theft property. Victim’s car parked in front of community center. He discovered that his backpack with laptop was missing when he returned to car. $600 value * 9/30-10/1: Vandalism on dumpster at Library with spray paint * 10/12: Petty theft where backpack was taken from beach near central lifeguard tower. Inside was an iPod and USMC identification. * 9/30 Burglary in 2nd degree where 46 year old female entered Babcock and Story and took lotion and soap dish and a black visor. She was arrested. * 10/15: Burglary where suspect forced entry into a residence and took TV and DVD player (1400 block 1st st.) * 9/1-10/15 Grand theft where suspect took a streak kayak and boat hook from a boat at Fiddler’s Cove. * 10/16: Couple who live together were involved in verbal and physical altercation at their home (200 block D Ave.) * 10/17: Burglary where unknown suspect entered a victim’s locker car and took in-dash CD player and bass speaker. Dashboard was destroyed in the process. Total damage $2500. * 10/18: Grand theft where suspect entered victim’s bedroom by unknown means and took a $4000 bracelet. Victim believes it was a family friend left alone in residence (200 block Orange Ave.) * 10/18: Burglary where suspect entered Vons and took a bottle of Gatorade and exited without paying. Detained by Vons employees and turned over to CPD for processing to juvenile hall.
