Nov. 27 – Shop Small Saturday – support our local independent businesses and grab a Passport and enter to win $250, $100, or $50 in Coronado Currency
Nov. 28-Dec. 5 – Hanukkah menorah lighting in the restored lobby at the Hotel del Coronado each evening

Dec. 1-15 – Letters to Santa – Bring your child, with their letter to Santa to drop in the North Pole Express Mailbox at the Community Center. Include a self-addressed, stamped envelope to facilitate Santa’s reply
Dec. 1, 9-11, 16-18, 22-24 – Pictures with Santa at The Del – guests of all ages can capture a classic photo with Old St. Nick
Dec. 2 – Chanukah on Ice – lighting of the menorah, donuts and latkes, and ice skating at the Hotel del Coronado ice rink
Dec. 2-Jan. 1 – Complimentary Hot Cocoa & Cookies in the lobby at the Coronado Island Marriott Resort & Spa *Thursdays through Saturdays from 4pm to 8pm
Dec. 3 – Santa Storytime – storytime at the Library with Ms. Natalie and a special guest
Dec. 3 – Book Signing – Stop by Fair Trade Décor before the parade and meet local children’s author Marianne Blackstone Tabner for a book signing of Taking Turns
Dec. 3 – Gingerbread House Decorating Party – All ages welcome for treats and a hot cocoa bar
Dec. 3 – Coronado Holiday Parade & Open House – This special tradition culminates with carol singing and a a Tree & Menorah Lighting Ceremony at Rotary Park
Dec. 4 – Artisans Alley Craft Fair – Do your holiday shopping with a wide selection of more than 150 vendors selling homemade crafts and unique holiday gifts
Dec. 5 – Christmas at Coronado – the Coronado Philharmonia Orchestra will perform its first Christmas concert for the community; and CSF sponsorship will pay for each CSF-funded band program student (Village, Silver Strand and CMS) AND their families to attend for free
Dec. 6 – Holiday Festival at The Del – Community is invited for Coronado school performances, skydiving Santa, photos with Santa, Skating by the Sea®, fireworks and more!
Dec. 6 & 13 – Donation Deadlines for Junior Enlisted Military Christmas Store
Dec. 7 – Library Decorating Day – Annual children’s holiday ornament making and decorating of the library tree
Dec. 8 – Teens Create – use the paint pour method to create one-of-a-kind ornaments

Dec. 12 – Ride the Lights – meet at Spreckels Park with your decorated bike at 4:45pm
Dec. 12 & 19 – San Diego Bay Parade of Lights – Annual boat parade on San Diego Bay 
Dec. 15-25 – Jingle Roast at The Del – Guests will don Santa hats as they snuggle up around the fire and roast holiday s’mores – SOLD OUT
Dec. 17 – A Christmas Carol – staged reading by local teens
Dec. 17, 19-21 – Victorian Tea at The Del – guests will enjoy a variety of teas, finger sandwiches, sweets and music
Dec. 17, 19-21 – Gingerbread Houses at The Del – decorate festive Gingerbread Houses in the Ocean Ballroom

Lamb’s Festival of Christmas As of Dec. 23 all remaining performances of A Christmas Carol have been cancelled due to Covid-19

Dec. 24 – URT Santa Surf Off & Toy Drive – wear your Santa garb for this annual surf event and bring an unwrapped toy to be donated to the Ronald McDonald House

Dec. 27 – Jan. 8 – Christmas Tree Curbside Recycling – Place bundled-with-twine Christmas tree sections (max 4′ length x 18″ diameter) for curbside pickup. If using green bin, cut tree into max 4′ long sections to place into bin

Dec. 27 – Jan. 15 – Christmas Tree Drop-Off Recycling – Drop off your undecorated tree (no size restrictions) at one of two Coronado locations (Glorietta Bay boat launch parking lot or Cays Park parking lot – look for the large dumpster)

Dec. 28 – Holiday Bowl Parade on Harbor Drive in San Diego
Dec. 31 – ALBACA New Year – Enjoy a four course meal for $100 and have a night you’ll never forget
Dec. 31 – New Year’s Eve Gala at The Del – Ring in the New Year at a roaring ’20s gala, as the iconic Crown Room transforms into a Great Gatsby themed speakeasy
Jan. 1, 2022 – New Year’s Day Brunch at The Del – Enjoy the first meal of 2022 with The Del’s famed brunch in the stunning Crown Room
