Does Anyone Know These Coronado Ferry Landing Dancers?

I’ve walked around Coronado Ferry Landing many times on weekends and there always seems to be a band or musicians entertaining the crowds that walk by or sit to enjoy a meal. A few months ago, I found a couple dancing under the sun with so much glee, that I just had to capture it and share it with others that enjoy Coronado.

A few weeks ago, I spotted the same dancers AGAIN in the area in front of Coronado Ferry Landing dancing their Saturday and Sunday away.

This time I HAD to talk to them. Here’s what I found out:

Names?

Frank and Diane: ages 79 and 76 respectively.

Coronado residents?

No. They live in San Diego but have been coming to Coronado to dance at Coronado Ferry Landing and Spreckels Park for 28 years. They have 3 daughter and 2 grandchildren.

That’s all I could find out amid their dancing stride. If anyone else knows more about these wonderful and colorful couple, please share it below! Let’s celebrate their happiness and that Coronado is privileged to have authentically merry people

who take the time to dance and live life!
