You can meet other dogs and cats available for adoption at the Coronado Animal Care Facility (ACF) on 1395 First Street. Hours of operation are 9am – 4pm, every day but major holidays. To see and read about other animals needing homes, please view our websites: pawsofcoronado.org and petfinder.com. All our animals are spayed/neutered, micro chipped and current on their immunizations prior to their adoption. Currently the ACF is at full capacity with animals, we desperately need foster families in the Coronado area, and we are also looking for volunteer dog walkers. Please see our above website for more information and volunteer forms.
PAWS of Coronado Featured Dog of the Week: Taylor
Taylor is a female Lab Retriever/Great Dane mix, about one year old and 49 pounds. This beautiful girl was found near the Coronado Library very early one morning after being hit by a car. With immediate treatment by a vet, her bumps and bruises are now healed. She suffered no permanent damage. This loving girl will be a great addition to any family who can understand that she may be a bit shy and have some fears at first. In her time at the ACF, we witness her gaining confidence in exploring the world around her. Kids love her and she makes friends easily with other dogs. Taylor was recently described by a group of teenager boys as “awesome”. She’s a beautiful girl inside and out with the heart and soul of a true survivor. One can’t help but notice her most striking feature, her beautiful eyes…. one ice blue and the other deep brown. Come meet her to see if she’s right for your family. She’s a good girl with a big heart and the willingness to be part of a loving home.
