At CHA’s next “Wine & Lecture” event this Friday, March 21, at 5:30 p.m., the audience will learn much more about the wine business from Patrick Zilaro, third generation winemaker, who recently opened a unique wine business in Coronado.
Owner Patrick Zilaro will share a bit about his vision for Zilaro Cellars, as well as his family’s background and history in winemaking, reaching back to his great-grandfather. Zilaro wine blends feature grapes from the Sierra Foothills, Paso Robles and Temecula, making Zilaro a distinct brand in Southern California. Patrick will bring with him samples of his renowned vintages. However the event is not a classic wine tasting, but instead will be focused on the business and viticulture side of California winemaking.
CHA’s Wine & Lecture events are free to the public; wine is available at $5 per glass. No RSVP required, but seating is first-come, first-served. The Lecture Hall is located at the Coronado Museum of History & Art, 1100 Orange Avenue. For more information, call (619) 435-7242.
