Cops and Robbers: Seven Bicycles Reported Stolen (7/4/19-7/18/19)

Thanks to the Coronado Police Department for providing The Coronado Times with the below information (partial list):

Crimes:

7/16/19: Grand Theft Property near 3000 block of Silver Strand Boulevard

Unknown suspect stole victim’s secured bicycle from the rear of the victim’s RV. The approximate value of the stolen bicycle and cut lock is $2,100.

7/15/19: Petty Theft near 700 block of H Avenue

Unknown suspect stole the victim’s unlocked bicycle from the alley. The value of the stolen bicycle is approximately $150.

7/14/19: Inflicting Corporal Injury on Spouse/Cohabitant at Undisclosed Location

Subject and his girlfriend were in a verbal argument. During the argument, subject grabbed his girlfriend’s cell phone and threw it on the ground, breaking the phone completely. Subject then forcefully grabbed his girlfriend by the upper arms with his hands and pulled her close to him. He then bit her upper lip, causing a bloodied laceration. During the altercation, subject’s girlfriend also received scratch marks on her neck. Subject fled the scene in an unknown direction prior to police arrival.

7/13/19: Using False ID to Open Credit near 400 block of Adella Lane

Unknown suspect used victim’s personal information and attempted to open several credit accounts. Victim contacted all the account providers, and there is no monetary loss at the time.

7/13/19: Petty Theft near 2000 block of Second Street

Unknown suspect took the victim’s unlocked bicycle from the valet area of the Coronado Marriott. The value of the stolen bicycle is approximately $450.

7/12/19: Petty Theft near 500 block of C Avenue

Unknown suspect stole the victim’s unlocked bicycle from the fenced front yard area of the victim’s girlfriend’s residence. The total loss of the stolen bicycle was approximately $300.

7/12/19: Petty Theft near 1500 block of Orange Avenue

Unknown suspect cut the combo cable bike lock and stole the victim’s bicycle from the area of Windsor Cottage at the Hotel Del Coronado. The total loss of the stolen bicycle is approximately $300.

7/10/19: Petty Theft near 1300 block of First Street

Unknown suspect took a handicap placard from a vehicle parked in the ferry landing. The stolen placard was valued at $25.

7/5/19: Petty Theft near 1400 block of Second Street

Victim reported his secured bicycle stolen from the patio of his apartment complex. The value of the stolen bicycle is $450.

7/4/19: Grand Theft Property near 1100 block of G Avenue

Bicycle was stolen from the sidewalk on the corner of Ocean Boulevard and G Avenue. The loss for the bicycle and lock is approximately $1,945.

7/15/19: Grand Theft Property – Felony near 1100 block of Loma Lane

7/15/19: Grand Theft Property – Felony near 1100 block of Loma Lane

23 year old male

7/12/19: Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol – Misdemeanor near 600 block of Alameda Boulevard

65 year old female

7/12/19: Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol – Misdemeanor near 800 block of Sixth Street
