The National Charity League (NCL), Del Sol Chapter, will be honoring its graduating seniors at its annual Senior Recognition event on Sunday, May 25 with a celebration of the members’ dedication to service, leadership and cultural enrichment over the past six years.

The event, held at the Park Hyatt Aviara Resort in Carlsbad, will recognize the accomplishments of the class of 2025 with 25 seniors being honored for their contributions to the community and the NCL chapter. The graduating seniors have collectively contributed over 5265 total volunteer hours over the last six years to 30 local nonprofit organizations, demonstrating their commitment to making a positive impact.

The event will showcase the seniors’ community building skills and their participation in NCL’s various cultural and leadership development programs. The class of 2025 selected the Warrior Foundation as their senior project philanthropy. The project included packing holiday boxes, making cards and posters and participating in the annual Deck the Halls at the barracks at the Naval Medical Center San Diego. The barracks were decorated with holiday decorations for the ill and injured Warrior residents.

The Senior Recognition event also provides an opportunity for the seniors to express their gratitude to their Patroness mothers for their guidance and support throughout their NCL journey. Event co-chairs, Kristin Baldi and Heather Mubarak lead the planning and execution of the event, ensuring a memorable celebration for the graduating seniors and their families.
