Snow, Santa and Holiday Cheer

Here’s your chance to play in the snow in Southern California on Friday, December 1st at the City of Coronado’s Snow Mountain!  This highlight of Coronado’s 42nd Annual Holiday Open House features tons of snow for children to play on at the Coronado Ferry Landing located at 1201 First Street, Coronado 92118.  Snow Mountain opens at 2:00 p.m. so parents and young children can play on the snow before the crowds arrive. Arrive early to greet Santa as he arrives to Coronado by the 3:20 p.m. ferry!  Better yet, ride the ferry from San Diego to Coronado with Santa and his elves at 3:00 p.m.  From 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. enjoy holiday crafts, face painting, visits with Santa, jumpees, prizes, strolling entertainment, hot chocolate, cookies and snow!

These holiday activities are provided free of charge thanks to the generous funding from the Port of San Diego Tidelands Activation Program and support from the Coronado Ferry Landing and Coronado Chamber of Commerce. The Port of San Diego Tidelands Activation Program is designed to support a vibrant and active waterfront with events that engage the community and inspire visitors to enjoy San Diego Bay.
