Which Wich of Coronado is hosting a Flag Your Bag event on Saturday, October 28 at 10 am at their 926 Orange Ave location. The owners, Coronado residents Maggie and Dennis Holland, have 500 brown ordering bags that were decorated by guests at the restaurant and from some franchisees who mailed them, and will be stuffing them with treats to send to service members aboard the naval ships of Captain Rome Ruiz, the Commodore of the America Amphibious Ready Group.
The Hollands will have a team, including Ruiz’s daughter, stuffing all of the bags starting at 10 am, Saturday, October 28. It will be a worthwhile community effort. Stop by to see the activity, and you might as well order a customized lunch while there too.
